The scorekeeper taps the counters and types two numbers. The app adds it up.
Your table plays and counts its cards the way it always has. At the end of each round, the scorekeeper enters what each team made, and the app adds it all up with your group’s values.
Tap + and − for each team’s clean, dirty and wild books and its red 3s. The app multiplies them out and adds the going-out bonus.
Tap the team that went out, or “Nobody — the cards ran out”. When the round is saved, the app says who went out in big letters.
Type the points of the cards each team melded and the cards still in their hands and feet. Card points go up in 5s.
Before every round the app shows what a team’s first meld needs. It’s shown, never checked.
Already added it up on paper? Type each team’s score for the round instead.
Undo takes back the last round. Tap any saved round to fix it, and the totals are worked out again.
The app never deals, counts cards or referees, and it’s points only: no money changes hands in the app.
Each group picks its game, and that game’s usual values fill in. Change any of them to match your house rules, or clear one your group doesn’t score.
Clean books 500, dirty books 300, wild books 1,500, red 3s 100 and going out 100. The meld minimum rises each round: 50, 90, 120, 150.
Natural canastas 500, mixed canastas 300, red 3s 100 each or 800 for all four, and 100 more for going out concealed.
Canastas of 7s or aces, wild canastas, and 3s that count for or against a team by how many canastas it made. Special hands go in “Other points”.
Your organizer picks how your group plays. Pick how many tables on the night, and the app draws teams of two, partners across from each other. With an odd number, one table of 3 plays everyone for themselves. Everyone plays.
Everyone keeps their table and partner all night. Each table plays its games one after another and never waits for the others.
After each game, the app draws new tables and new partners for everyone, and everyone’s own points add up. “Where do I go?” shows each player their next table, seat and partner.
